This hand made, signed and hand painted ceramic dinner plate is decorated in the Pennsylvania slipware pottery style imitating the yellow slip decorations on red clay. It is almost paper thin and 1 inch by 1 1/4 inch long.
I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, china paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
