This handmade, signed by Christine Lecoutre and hand glazed ceramic vase has a shape reminiscent of a gourd. It is glazed in a mixture of brown and green glazes for an unusual, variegated effect. The vase is hollow and 1 1/4 inch high and 1 inch wide.
I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, China paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
