Dollhouse miniature ceramic Majolica basket

This handmade, signed and hand glazed ceramic basket is 1 3/8 inch in diameter and stands 1 inch high with the handle. It was modeled after a real size majolica ceramic basket.

Two lady bugs are at the base of the green handle. The basket is glazed in a deep green which accentuate the ridges in the outside. .

I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, china paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
