This handmade, signed and hand painted ceramic dinner plate is decorated with two oversized lemon slices rendered in black. Perfect for a summer scene. A transparent glaze is applied before the last firing. It is almost paper thin and is 3/4 inch in diameter.
I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, China paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
