Later in life, Picasso devoted himself to ceramics and spent a lot of time in a studio in the south of France. Among the many items he made are a series of plates depicting owls and other birds.
This plate is 1 inch by 1 1/4.
I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, China paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
