This handmade, signed and hand painted ceramic oblong dish is decorated with carved design on black and teal background and enhanced by orange accents. A transparent glaze is applied before the last firing. It is almost paper thin and is 1 1/2 inch long and 1 1/4 inch wide.
I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, China paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
