Miniature Clarisse Cliff inspired ceramic plate - 2 trees

This hand-painted miniature plate pays homage to Clarice Cliff’s iconic Bizarre ceramics of the 1930s. The design captures her signature bold geometry and radiant palette—sunset orange framing a stylized landscape of abstracted trees. A modern tribute in miniature, it celebrates Cliff’s joyful synthesis of art deco form and painterly freedom.

This plate is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and almost paper thin. It will make a great addition to an art deco or modern miniature scene, either displayed on a wall of on a living room buffet.

I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, chine paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
