This hand made, signed and hand painted ceramic oblong dish is decorated with a favorite blue and white porcelain motif from Chinese export porcelain popular in the US and England as far back as Victorian times. A transparent glaze is applied before the last firing. It is almost paper thin and is 1 2/8 inch long and 7/8 inch wide.
I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, china paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
