Later in life, Picasso devoted himself to ceramics and spent a lot of time in a studio in the south of France. Among the many items he made are a series of owl's sculptures.

I make all of my items from start to finish, using clay, underglaze paint, several glazes, China paint and fires them several times as required by the decoration and technique used.
